The clear pipe go pointing up go to where ?
The grey area below and at right angle go to where?

u cut the 40mm pipe to the short distance you want and connect it to your elbow and the pipe length you want and connect it to the outlet of your elbow.

as for the smaller pipe "pointing up" leave it open.

ok.
u cut the 40mm pipe to the short distance you want and connect it to your elbow and the pipe length you want and connect it to the outlet of your elbow.
So this go to the return section of the sump,right?

as for the smaller pipe "pointing up" leave it open.
Will water come out since it is open?

aiyo... not stupit question la...

the smaller pipe "pointing up" it is like... how to put it... to give the stable flow of your return. if you cover it, the pressure will drop and the flow will be unstable... i can't remember the term use for this...

don't worry, the return water will not flow out to the top...
