Question 1 Red and 1 Gold Arowana Comm together in 6ft tank

Hi guys,

Need an advice.
1) is it possible to comm 1 red and 1 gold together in 6 x 2.5 x 2.5 ft tank?
2) What should i look for when i comm them together?
3) Will their colour fade?
4) What colour for 4 sides and bottom is better for these two colours? e.g. oyama black or blue or others?
5) how about tanning light?

Always the answer is no. Usually they fight but sometimes 1 gold and 1 red arowana together possible. But question is how long.
I have 2 pcs. Com. 2 months ago was there aniversary. So far so good.
At first they change places being who is dominant so a little torn fins nothing serious so i let them be. Now they dont fight but sometimes swim side by side.

You can try but always have a ready tank or divider incase you need them to be separated

If you put 2 aros or more.
Never put a new aro inside a tank with an arowana already in the tank for a long time. Even a week old.
You need to take all arowana drain more than 50% of the water add to make your preferred water parameters. Once achieved. Put all the arowana in the tank and observe.
Always will have an Alfa arowana and will be more colorful that the rest.
Most i com have more reds than gold.

I was thinking of that too. But not comm. Only with a divider. Just cant decide how big the tank should go.

1) yes/no. See heng suay. mostly its suay. suggestion start from babies of same size. then add in alot of other fishes for distraction.
But again, red grow bigger than XB. high risk.

2) dunno
3) dunno.
4) black.
5) normal white lights will do.
