[QUOTE=tidatu;6971604]Hi guys, new to the Kelah. Never come across to my mind that this fish is so beautiful until reading through this discussion. Saw a couple of piece on sales in the LFS, can't control and bought them.
Might need help to ID. Is this a green kelah?? [/Q Jelawat Fish |

Hi Mahseer lovers, do help me to identify these 3 pcs of "Kelah??".
I believe this a blue kelah. Correct me if im wrong.. thanks.. Red or Golden Mahseer?? Best i could get as the fish is moving very fast. (Sold to me as a Golden mahseer, but tail look reddish) Green kelah or just barb?? Thanks |

First one is a Thai Blue Second one looks like a Tor Putitor - a.k.a Golden Mahseer - Reddish Tail is corrrect. Third pic very hard to confirm. Green kelah needs to practice a bit on photo shot to focus on the mouth area. Anyways, its a nice and healthy looking fish you have there. Based on the body shape, i thinks its a lemon barb IMHO. Cheers |
