I've also got coral chips in my filter media. i guess that increases the ph level in my tank..

the faq states that Sulawasi shrimps are suited for high alkaline water.. but i dont see Sulawasi shrimp in the ph and temperature guide..

why u need coral chip in filter media when you are keeping cherry shrimps? Quartz + tap water = alkaline enough for cherry.

Sulawasi shrimps, the term is like Amonzonia fish, they are so many species which one are you referrring to. But only 1 species is keepable - that is the Cardina.

i think most shrimp will do well with PH of between the range of 6-7.. the more common one we see is cherry, sakura, crs, blue, orange, yamato and so on.. should do well in that range..

there is planet catfish for plecos. any one for shrimps?
