Cloudy in 1week shrimp tank?

Hello bros i'm a newbie in shrimp tank.I recently bought a 28(L)x18(W)x19(H)
tank and cycled for 7 days wit a Qmax series-7 fan,HOF and a 14watt light on for 8hours daily wit nana plant and moss ball and base soil is GEX(red packet) however today i had introduce some Sakura(hand itch) and the tank got cloudy and the shrimps keep striving to come to the top.

More specs,
NO3-25mg/L
Ph-6.5
Ammonia-Unknow
Temp-27.5celcius

Any bro got any ways to solve or is it temp too high?Thank you in advance!

think one month best.

If your shrimp keep striving to the top , not a good sign

yes.. 1 week is not enough even if you are using mature filter or water.. slow down bro.. most likely your shrimp won't pull through if you still put inside there.. it will be better to remove them.. cloudy water for new tank usually mean the cycling is not complete.. learn from the mistake and wish you good luck bro..

yeah i had learn from my mistake..hais..i hope they would make it thru this difficult one month period and they would be fine liao.. anyway is 28degrees too high for the shrimps?

28degrees will do for sakura. able to tolerate till 30degrees but not adviseable.

is due the the tank water not cycle.. sell off ur shrimp ba.. try again a few week time..

better to be safer then sorry.. i still a life after all.. if my guess is rite, the shrimp could be suffering nw due to the bad water..

Recently weather condition may cause temp to go up to 30d.

Have you change your filter medium recently?

I do experience water turn cloudy when adding some shrimps into my new tank after cycle for a week. I read some articles on the internet and it say that when the tank lack of some 'good' bacteria in the tank, it will turn cloudy. It will turn clear after one or two days.

If you change a totally new medium in your filter, there is a chance your tank will turn cloudy.

Btw wat soil you use?

Shrimps swimming to the surface is not a good sign. Maybe due to the water parameters as well.
