What u feed ur V.crabs with?

how often do you feed ur vampire crabs? everyday?

i feed mine mealworms, frozen bloodworm, hikari crab cuisine.

do u guys think hikari crab crusine alone can keep them healthy?

i think it is better to add some other food into their diet. for vampire crabs, they are more carnivorous, so it is good to feed them some live food.

For frozen BW, do you drop into the water or on the land?

Normally for frozen items (i feed them frozen prawns), i will put on a little plate on the land area. then i can discard it very easily. if u put in water, the next day the water will stink to the high heavens.

Hi,

Do u all feed ur crabs everyday? My new batch of crabs (5 males n 3 females)were feeding fine since day 1. It's almost 21 days already n I finally have my 1st death (1 male). I also notice that some of them are lossing appetite. Even when i put the food in front of them they will ignore or have one or two bite n walk away .
