I hate PHVs. My couple of trips in them were unpleasant and this morning after giving way to one, it proceeded to road hog.

Now may be a good time to buy since coe is comparatively lower, and it is projected to go up soon. My car also left 1 yr, made the decision to get new one few weeks ago.

Me too. My car left with 10minths only.
Last month did a battery change and inspection. All 4 Tyres changed in dec 16.
Abt to check on LTO. A month should be around 600 to 750; including tax and ins for a 1.5 7 seater Jap hybrid car.

Only worry no power nia nia

Booked my new car 2 months ago and felt heart ache.
This news gives me some comfort

But seriously, fix public transport issues first. Take things step by step. One shot whack. Haiz....

cars will be own by those that willing to part with the money or commercial entities.
smrt will struggle to operate with the population growth as it wasn't cater for expansion of capacity and lack of maintenance for a long time.
buses will be the black horse to win it all for middle and low tier family.
Bicycle will be a shame for Spore from first world status to the third.
All in all transportation will be a bad report for ruling party in every election and it will be a difficult problem for them to fix it.

They should work on improving the public transport system first before tackling the growth of cars..........else it's just limiting people's choice on the mode of transport..........
