Red ear slider turtle look alike
I jus purchase a red ear slider lookalike from aqua star, the turtle looks exactly like a red ear slider but does not have the red ears. Can anyone advise me what species is this turtle.

It could possibly be a yellow ear slider, trachemys scripta scripta. Different subspecies from red ear slider.
Here's a pic for reference: source: http://www.tartaclubitalia.it/images...a261210_17.jpg |

Hi bros, the specimen you 've identified is a res x yellow bellied slider hybrid. The stripes on the side of its year resemble the shape of a yellow belly, bt with slight reddish coloring.
Their care is identical to regular sliders, bt they *might* grow larger than a regular res due to the genes from yellow belly. Hope this helps |
