Sinking pallets recommendation needed
Hi,
I tried the Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pallets and this is well liked by all my fishes but this is quite ex, ard $8 for 74g.. I also tried the Hikari Wheat Germ, this is not so ex at $8 for 500kg but only liked by SBKM and SD, pleco sometime will take but not much.. CL and Angel dont really like it.. Lately I tried the Star Sinking Pallets from Aquastar, cost at $10 for 1kg, cheapest but none of my fish like it.. (gotta throw this away soon) There seems to be more floating pallets than sinking type in the market. Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pallets is the best but it way too ex to feed my SBKM, he suck them up like a vacuum cleaner before others get to eat.. Please help to recommend a not too expensive sinking pallets that is liked by most fish. Thanks.. |

maybe you can try hikari lionhead http://www.hikari.info/gold/g_05.html .
i got 350g at around 6-7 dollars . forgotten price liao . Its quite small so the sbkm sure have hard time getting all the pellets in his mouth , in the mean time your other fishes can get the food . or you can find a cheap kind of sinking pellets to stuff the sbkm till his full , then feed hikari sinking pellets to the other fishes . |

Else, semi-float/sink type includes tetrabits, well-like by all my fishes. Really, all my fishes. Anyway, i also feed a combination of the following:
1. Hikari Lionhead (small, sinking) 2. Hikari Wheatgerm (medium, sinking) 3. Hikari Spirulina (small, floating) 4. Dried shrimps (large, floating) 5. Tetrabit Complete (small, semi-sinking) |

I think the Hikari lionhead sinking type has red enhancing benefit. You can double check on their website.
