Actually this $20mil isnt really $20mil but just for the world to see how much cost we incurred.
In reality, more than half are 'spent' on security. With or without this summit, the security cost doesnt go away. On the other hand, the security forces trainings for the longest time, are put into a real situation. Or do we prefers the security goes through false mock up trainings and in real situations, they cant handle (eg Little India Riot, where the security force were a mockery) |
