Default gravel

hi all,

for those of u with thick 3 inch gravel for your shrimps, how do u clean it? just suck up the dirt from the surface of the gravel thats all?

Hope i'm not infringing anything... Personally, I use this:



If the sight is bearable, I usually don't do anything to the gravel, but when really dirty, the gravel washer can be used. Pretty hassle-free, like doing a partial water change...

practically i seldom touch gravel.

but sucking using normal air pump tubes though not thorough enough but somehow it gets the job done.

3inch?? mine at most only 2 inches.

mine is 1inch at most, at the front..

and it's covered in HC.. so i dun have to clean it..

If you use soil as gravel, you need not touch the gravel at all.

im planning to use black quartz sand as my gravel. how thick should be gravel be? im planning to keep some shrimps. thanks
