Does Eheim 2026 self primming works?
Hi bros & siss,
dont know if this is the correct section to post, but just like to clarify does the eheim 2026 self primming function works? meaning if the canister is empty, when i press the self primming button, should the water flow into the empty canister? or even when i fill up the canister with water, by pressing the primming button, is water suppose to flow in? Thanks! |

yes it should. e filter shld be placed lower than the tank so it can be primed easily. also ensure that the white ball/plunger is not damaged as it function as a check valve for priming to work.

Thanks bros for the replies.
arofrank79: does your self primming for 2028 works? yeah i know using the powerhead helps, but i purchase a 2026 set which the primming didnt work, so i need to know is the 2026 faulty or its normal to be like this. |

I committed a very serious mistake tat time. My inlet and outlet are connected wrongly. I think this could not be a problem for your case. One thing that you can do to check whether the primming is working is by putting your finger around the inlet. You should be able to feel the suction when u depress the button. |

Thanks for the advise bro. I got it correct for the inlet and outlet, cause if i were to do it the other way round, i would not be able to clip it down right?
But nvm, im using the powerhead method now =) |
