Default Blue lights

Hi Bros
Do we need blue light tube for planted plants?

u mean how blue? Plants are much more sensitive to red and blue spectrum for photosynthesis. so actinic is out.
i use 8000 to 10000k tube. looks whiter..

The blue like for marine use..............

it's not advisable. but why u wanted blue?

i added 1 blue tube also (think it's 12,000k) + 3 tubes superwhite(8500k) for my 3ft tank, reason being...i dun like yellow lights. too warm. haha

nope blue lights are not needed in a planted setup.
