Default 1 footer home tank

I've done this up 3 weeks ago with a tank I bought from Arolee.

Wow...it's beautiful.

Some questions:

1) What kind of tetras are those? First time see. Where did you buy and how much?
2) What's that thing on the top left, in the first photo? That round, bulb-lookalike thingy.

That thing shows the pH level of the water.

1) those are called glowlight tetras. I was considering between neon, cardinal and glowlights and I bought them. Their prices range from 50cts (pasir ris farms) to 1.20 (Pet Safari and Sam's)

2) C02 indicator. Turns blue when insufficient CO2, yellow when there's too much.

Interesting.

I know those PH indicators inside the fish tank usually will only work for a few months right? Are there any that would work continuously? (Buy, put in and use forever)

I've never seen CO2 indicators before. Does it have to be replaced? Or also "use forever"?

Default nice!

great job! I think the selection of fish was very good! adding some background plants to conceal the equipment would be nice too. Can try some long stemmed plants.
good shots taken too!!

Can try. Know of any long stem plants that don't grow above 30 height? Reason why I rescaped this tank is that I was sick of trimming my long stem plants.
