I don't think any shop owners want to close shop one day (or more) to attend course so that they have a license to sell $10 frogs. The demand for these frogs is not even high. If they don't earn much from selling and they still have to waste time to attend course, then I guess no one will have the license.
Furthermore, there will not be any shops that specialise in herps because the only legalised species are the RES, WTF and Malayan box turtle. And it is even more troublesome to deal with the MBT because it is listed under CITES. So to me, it's a joke. But that aside, for those that are using crickets. What do you do to catch the cricket from the box? I tried opening the box to catch with my hand, but usually one or two other scared cricket will be jumping out and running off. |

I keep the crickets in a ~1' guppy tank. Tall enough to prevent them from escaping. Usually, I will take the egg crate and shake the crickets off unless there is too little crickets left.

Have you tried using forceps(tweezers)? Not sure if it will work though.

Thanks again. Going 328 tmr to get guppy tank. Yup I tried. These buggers run fast and jump high. Use hands more efficient. |
