I believe that ph is just only one of the factors for CRS, there are many others to worry about as well.
crs seems to be able to take very low ph.. however cherries seem not to survive.

ive actually seperated my cherries and crs.

but my mosura's colours seem to have faded.. hai.. not sure about the ph as yet.

is there a change in ur tank ph? If not, the fading is not caused by ph.I have read that temperature will affect the colour.

Hi I am a newbie in shrimp keeping

I started to have a tank full off mixure between cherries, sakura, CRS, Golden, BDS, well u can call it a "Rojak" tank. But so far I also notice some casualties off sakura and CRS as well, it just die out of no reason. some time I can even see them lying on the ground waiting to die. Can't really understand why? My tank PH is bewteen 6.5 to 7 & 0 amonia.

not possible it has to do with temp. i have a chiller maintaining temp at constant 24.

Yes it has been runing for almost two month from since, and I do still see 1 die every week. I am maintaining my water temperature quite constantly between 26 to 27 degree but most of the time it fluatuate between 26 to 26.5 degree. My tank have quite alot of plant and there are also quite a number of rocks as well.

But still can figure out why they die.... sigh......

actuall, IMO, it is vv difficult to find out the cause of a shrimp's death. there are many causes, and unless we measure everything eg ph, nitrate level, ammonia level, it is vv hard to detect a single cause of the death. we can guess, but it may not neccessarily be right. the most we can do is to try to give our shrimps the best environment.
