For the bottle diy,we only need to make holes at the base which is the top right? any other holes needed to make?then the base just cover to prevent the media from.falling out right?

I am using them with my HOF. Cut the plastic bottle into 2. Punch some holes near the opening. Put K1 into a bottle and place under the HOF. Water output from HOF will push the K1 down, use air bubble to circulate in the bottle if needed. Water will flow out from the holes on top.

Hi, sorry for bring up old tread. Any fellow shrimp keepers have good result using K1. Anyone still uses it?
