Where you got your shrimps in the first place? Interesting leh. Maybe get some myself and breed them for fun in my tank.

Hi bro, so was it a black spot disease as suspected previously? Did the blue one died? Or its a variant of the red shrimps u had? If its something different then why not keep those with blue hue in a tank and breed further see if can develop more?

Cos the 1st pic looks interesting with middle portion blueish and both ends red.

As Silane mentioned, its not black spot disease. That looks different although I've only seen it on CRS pictures but I'm quite sure its not because I've kept many FR that turned very dark in certain parts but were healthy and moulting.

However, I do not see any blues in my colony bro, so your bluish genes may be from colorful's batch. With that being said, some of the FRs looks bright red, while others looked darker blood red with a tint of purple so I wouldn't rule out the blue undertones could be caused by this bluish gene.

hi bro

confirm not BSD, but RCS with bluish hue
after more than 2 months of waiting, i do have more shrimps with bluish hue
but i cannot further enhance their coloration
therefore i decide to give to the master and focus on my low grade crs tank

cheers
