I'm not familiar with this topic. But it cross my mind, which actually affects shrimps positively or negatively? TDS, gH, pH, etc.

RO will result in very low TDS, gH and pH (low everything).
- Does high TDS kill shrimps or what are the effects?
- High gH can cause molting problem. Thus Mineral Plus and the likes, helps to raise it to the appropriate level.

Can anyone provide insights on the 3 technicalities (TDS, gH, pH)?? Anyone can help? I'm puzzled too.

I realised Mosura Mineral Plus is not so easily available in LFS now. Heard e sales person for Mosura quit and since then, shops are selling ex-stock.

What are you guys using now in place of Mosura Mineral Plus (for molting)?

RO water is 0 TDS. So if your water TDS is ideal at around 135, then topping with RO water will maintain the 135 TDS. If TDS exceeds the ideal TDS, then change water with RO water and check TDS. Adjust to the optimum TDS with mineral solution.

I'm not using RO or DI water but just tap water. Mosura Mineral Plus is not so available in the shops it seems.

I shd have some nutrafin african cichlid conditioner around. Think I'll just use this till I find mineral plus.

I managed to buy it online, from Carousell. Think the distributor listed it there. Quite ex, was it about $25 (around there) per 100ml bottle of Mosura Mineral Plus Ultra?
