Jardini Arowana: like a burned skin on the head and gills
Hi All,
MERRY CHRISTMAS ... I would like to seek help for my Jardini Arowana. After coming back from the holidays, there is a bloating skin or like a human burned skin. It is located on the face, top of the head and gills. I couldn't find one similar, and hoping to get ideas on how to treat it or medicine. Some details. Arowana is 12" long Will become 3yo on Feb 2013 very active eats well Arowana is accompanied with one pleco same age as him and together since start. we have treated the tank with AZOO bacterial, and others for Arowana. Also applied some salt. |

By the way, what are those lights in the first picture? Seems that they are inside the fish tank?
Possible that your aro got scalded by them? Just guessing... |

Those were outside.
Update: Water change and aquarium salt plus fungus And bacteria treatment seems to work. Bubbles on the face are sizing small. |
