Wow, any more congo sighting? I was at c328 just now, so disappointed when aunty told me all 8 congo was sold in less than a week.
haha. hope can get one soon. Anyway what's the suitable sand for a congo puffer? the finest sand? |

can congos do without any sand? mines currently in a bare bottom tank. seems fine.

i think so.. in all that i have read, it does not say that they need it to survive.. but i would suppose that having at least a thin layer of about 0.5-1inch of sand would be good in that it makes the puffers more comfortable should they want to burrow themselves..

yeaps this i agree cos when they burrow u can see how they lay in wait of an unsuspiscious prey and sucks it into the mouth when its in range (:
