chiller requirement
I have an intend to purchase a chiller. Told by LFS that a 1/10 chiller from Arctia can do the job for a 4ftX1.5ftX2ft. Arctia 1/10 hp can cool up to 130 gallon of water
I need advise from any brother whether 1/10 hp is adaquate or under power. Thank |

for artica is more than enough. i'm using 1/4 on a 2 feet cube( 2 x 2 x 2) it only runs in every 3 hours. and keeps the temp cool at 26.1 to 25.5

go to www.jbjlighting.com
there's a calculator to help you choose the correct chiller. a tip : try to get a chiller rated 1 level higher than you need if your budget permits. this will save you lots in the long run as the chiller does not need to run as often to get to the desired temp. |
