Yes if is not 180 degree or harden. Maintain good water will prevent alot of problems.

I m not sure how bad is my Arowana.

Bro, under normal circumstances daily wc will heal the curved gill.

But it would not happen overnight. It takes about 2 weeks or so.

Be patient & consistent with the daily wc

Hi streetsmart73.
I asked sifu come for surgery😉 with a charge.
According to him, my aro seem sicks n his head kind infection n possible bladder issue due to head up when swim 😖.

I m added heater since y'day n Increase temp from 30°c to 31°c also some small fish for him to eat 😖

After Fri "surgery", my aro still swim with head up, sigh I suspect he kena bladder disorder.
I am feeding him with bird worm (giving up on pellet) and add small fishes for him to eat in the tank and he is not eating at all.

Here is the y'day water parameters before WC:
