hi all, notice most have red gravels. is it a must to put red gravels when keeping them?

It's not absolutely necessary, but it helps to bring out the colour contrast of your bichirs.

no ah, I have never used cocktail at all. I trust Aquahobby's quality so I never do any form of quarantine to the bichirs. my water dirty ba.. trying to pump them up.

lighting is normal, led white. water dirty la.. haha. pellets, mp and squid..

very nice, can distinguish the ansorgii patterning at the top and koloton lap patterning in the middle. head shape is sharper. :-)
