any Gatf Keeper around ?
is there any ways can i stop my only gatf from dashing around? his snout is injured now. |

add some fishes to school with it, like tin foil barbs or blue/red hooks.

Keep a low level light on at all times....so no major changes in lighting will help.
that's why typically these fishes kept in ponds have less injuries...not just space but no abrupt changes. |

actually when a person goes near, more often than not it is the shadow caused by lights that cause the reaction / spook the fish. Water has a higher refractive index than air.
if possible try to position the lights properly. covering 3 sides may help. |

Actually gatfs, aramtus etc have the same spooked habit. They tend to knock against the glass and eventually hurt their snout. The ways I prevent them from doing is so is actually looking at the fish from a distance or dont on the lights at all.
