I have an ehiem overflow system. Works well for one fish but may be a problem if there are more fishes

I'm sure most people will recommend as much filtration as you could afford.

I have multiple space and aesthetic constraints when I setup my 422, so I ended up using only internal filters for my arowana tank. No issues thus far.

I'm considering whether a OHF will be enough. or a canister will be enough or need both.

Don't have an updated picture. But I'm only using a Tunze Comline 3163, OF Hydra 50 and a Dymax EZ-Filter.. All internals.

For your tank size, depending on the flow, ehiem will be good enough..

Check out the discussion on ehiem
