hi brudders.... forgive my ignorance on ray....but i have frens who's motoro is over 20 inch and also PDR rays above 26".......... not very accurate on the sizing of ray leh>...???

Something to add, there is a species saltwater converted rays on sale in LFS. They resemble the Himantura chaophraya, a true freshwater ray found in mekong thats currently endangered in thailand because of overfishing, but it occurs in australia too and is not affected there. This resemblance caused much confusion and arguments before. Through conversations with LFS owners, i have been informed these rays selling at 28-35 are indeed converted atlantic whip tail rays. The true Himantura chaophraya reaches a whopping size. below are some pics for reference, the atlantic whip tail looks very much like it in a smaller scale.
