Angry help!! dropped air pump into the pond filter chamber

aaaarrrrgggghhhhh accidentally dropped my airpump into the filter chamber,
i quickly grabbed it, without unplugging it first , good thing i was not electrocuted .
what should i do before i can use this pump again?
Do i have to open it up to dry it? or just leave it to dry without opening it up?
just bough tthis pump 2 weeks ago
there's water in the pump.

Isn't it faster to dry it up using hair dryer?

Like what we do for our hand phone . Only thing is that you must open it up for proper airing .

TS, just fyi. I wouldn't advise to dry electronic stuff under the sun. Some more inside the air pump got rubber stuff. Would just advise to open up (UNPLUGGED) and just use a dry cloth to clean inside, then use a hair dryer to blow dry. Take note when using the dryer, dun focus on a spot. Move the blower in a circular motion. Once aga aga dry le. Then let it cool down.

---- clean to ur best , dry to ur

then put in a big enuff plastic ziplock or container.
-- add in a thirsty hippo
--Watson sell cheap

else use rice or those moisture silicon for cams

to zip up the moisture for a few days
