help!! dropped air pump into the pond filter chamber
aaaarrrrgggghhhhh accidentally dropped my airpump into the filter chamber,
i quickly grabbed it, without unplugging it first , good thing i was not electrocuted . what should i do before i can use this pump again? Do i have to open it up to dry it? or just leave it to dry without opening it up? just bough tthis pump 2 weeks ago there's water in the pump. |

After drying it that it outside the fish tank to make sure it works.

Isn't it faster to dry it up using hair dryer?
Like what we do for our hand phone . Only thing is that you must open it up for proper airing . Simon |

TS, just fyi. I wouldn't advise to dry electronic stuff under the sun. Some more inside the air pump got rubber stuff. Would just advise to open up (UNPLUGGED) and just use a dry cloth to clean inside, then use a hair dryer to blow dry. Take note when using the dryer, dun focus on a spot. Move the blower in a circular motion. Once aga aga dry le. Then let it cool down.

else u can open up
---- clean to ur best , dry to ur then put in a big enuff plastic ziplock or container. -- add in a thirsty hippo --Watson sell cheap else use rice or those moisture silicon for cams to zip up the moisture for a few days then confirm dry then use |

Bro, lucky you're ok.. safety first, very dangerous to grab the pump when power on.
