the blue/black/white fish in the top right of this photo is a cleaner wrasse. no goby in the photo. is this your only new fish? i assumed you bought two fish and didnt have a photo of your neon goby [they are quite reclusive]. neons are also quite uncommon around here. i suspect you have mis-id'ed your wrasse as a neon.
quite easy to distinguish, take a good look at photos of each fish. |

I guess be it the real or false cleaner wrasse, if it accepts typical aquarium fare, it should do ok.
Here are some closeups of the neon goby: http://chemistry.csudh.edu/faculty/j...small/neon.jpg http://www.aquacon.com/images/NeonGoby.jpg I think this is a case of mis-identification. The colouration of the wrasse and goby may look slightly similar, but if you look closely and compare the photos with what you got, they have very different body shape and markings.

Don't worry, i don't think the fish would get too big for a nano setup. Cleaner wrasse(assuming what you got is the real cleaner wrasse) don't get too big.
ostrava:Tangs are not suitable for nano tanks as they need lots of swimming space. Tangs kept in a nano would eventually have to be sold off as they get too big or moved to a larger aquarium.
