Default Lighting Question:Serial and parallel

hi,would like to know if i have a pl light 36watt x2(in serial),does it means my light intensity is only 36watt? only if 36watt x2( in parallel) dan consider 72watts

no, both 72W. be it series or parallel, each individual bulb takes up 36W of energy..

for parallel, one bulb blow, the other still works, series, u r forced to on both bulbs..

of cos as i have not seen the power rating label myself, there might be some misinterpretation
