I believe the second picture u posted is a Male, due to the patterns on the top fin. In clear water, it is a blue-ish with stripey patterns, very very chio. Believe the other piece is a female. This is a picture of it (previous owner is amiidae): CROSSED THE LINE BY EDITING THE ORIGINAL PIX- NO PERMISSION GRANTED. PHOTO DELETED. Notice the difference in the top fin between the two channas.. I hope i am correct and breed for us Also, in a clear or white tank, the whole channa is pure white-silverish in colour, as seen in amiidae's photo.
