That is volcanic rock?
I think Anubias is not much of a nitrate sucker. You need fast growers like hornwort. Just float some in the tank. Some people also swear by money plant. |

Anubias not going to work. Hornworts and some floaters like frogbits will be better

Thks for those advise. Couldn't help it... like Anubias a lot. Maybe will get hornworts when free.

ic. good to have 1 set of test kits. ph, ammonia and nitrite are ok? what is the size of the fishes and water volume?
