Updates
All 5 of them looking good as of today.
The father on the other hand after I deprive him of his duties went on to get himself busy again with another female. Pic taken yesterday a day just after I poured out all the fries. Pardon me for the not so clear pic, there is definitely another pc ( after a headcount ) deep inside blocked by the big male. |

Latest Update
So far due to my not up to standard skills in fry management. All were wiped out from the previous spawns. Never made pass 1 week stage.
I poured out the latest spawn ( +/- 3weeks ago ) and never looked back. Found a few still surviving as of yesterday. |

I think its better to remove them only if you have the time to keep and eye on them. If not, most fries survive well in a single species tank together with the adults.
