Default Review AquaMedic Sea Salt

Parameters when mixed to 35ppt

Mg 1020ppm
KH 7.6dKh
Ca 380ppm

The package is actually compressed so its 4kg pack is quite small. Generally dissolve well but I had some hard particles left after first round of mixing.

When I mixed this salt with corallife salt, it caused precipitation resulting in cloudy water and lower Ca and KH value. When both salts were dissolved seperately and mixed together, there is no more precipitation. Overall good product, it would be better if the Mg level is in the 1300ppm range.

NO3 and PO4 may come from water source so I'm not taking measurements.

Bara, why dont you try the AquaMedic Reef Salt instead? That salt mixes to Mg of at least 1250-1300 and CA of about 400.
