My Novice Setup
This is the trial tank before I upgrade to a 2 or 3 feet later this year to better accomodate to the LS. Weekly 20 percent water change, L.S is healthy as seen in the video always hungry. System IQ5 system Water parameter salinity: 1.023 Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 Nirate around 10 or 20 PH 7.8 to 8 Temperature 28 - 29 degree celsius LS 1 x Ocellaris clownfish 1 x Saddleback black clownfish 1 x bicolor angelfish 1 x blood shrimp Bought a soft coral to test water can't identify the flower like coral. the clownfish have been hosting on it. Only problem encountered so far is the back compartment dry out pretty fast.. Need monitor every night to make sure the water behind is still ok. |

haha.. anyway, i'd just returned to Singapore from oversea, left my iq5 in the care of my "know nothing about aquarium" colleague for the last 2 weeks.. WC the day before 1 left, so only ask her to help me top up water once a week... surprise to receive a picture from her today that my livestocks are still kicking well. . going back to office tomorrow to do a water change.. haha..

Good to hear urs are doing well too actually i feel clownfish are extremely easy to takecare of and they eat alot. even snatching food from my fingers. I have no choice but put my finger in the water in order for the pellet be soaked to sink to the bottom if not all the food will be eaten by clownfish before it reaches the angel and shrimp

left my 2 aro tank to the hands of my wife's sister during the 2 weeks.. one was doing good, the other encounter OHF pump choke for at least 5 days, only running by acdc air pump. wahh.. luckily no fatality.. reach back quickly do a 20% WC and make good the OHF pump.
