what isit? spot burn? Oh and the tip of the antenna too. One side only. Do

crays scratch their abdomen? Thanks below is the picture. Notice the circled up spots. The cray in the picture is the grey one. Forgot to mention he has

that brown thing under his belly and the spots by the side looks exactly the same like the one the orange guy has.

Hey did you happen to observe the actions when the crab and the cray get into contact? Did they fight? Sulawesi crabs I'm not sure about their 脾气, but if it's aggressive you gotta remove it as the females are rather peaceful natured...

nah good quality cant produce bad crays. it's not scientifically logical. plus

they're not clarkiis. they're holthuisi.

nah they only have claws showing matches. the slightest touch and they'll both

retreat to their own hideouts.

Perhaps because they're naturally suited to bad water conditions, so giving them excessively good conditions can have some weird side effects?

How you tell the difference btw clarkii and holthuisi? I thought the cherax species all have fatter claws than the procambarus species?

Smile Baby Red Clarkii Crayfish

Yo Bro,

My 3" Red Clarkii who is now the proud mummy of 45 babies. Just to share.

Video resolution best view at 320x240 or smaller. Sorry for the poor quality, taken using my mobile phone.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...12046547&hl=en Look carefully and you can see all the babies clinging onto the mummy.

Throughout the berry stage till the baby appears, the mummy and daddy are together in the same tank all the time. Now I have separated the mummy with the babies in a separate tank. I use ceramic rings for all the babies to hide. Till today even at 1cm the babies will still hop onto the mummy for a free ride. I find there is not a need to isolate the mummy from her babies.

Cheers,
S1

Oh congrats, but in time to come you might need to isolate them and seperate them in batches. Crays are known to cannibalise among themselves
