i actually got all the stuff for this set up in Nanyang seaview. They had all sort of lightings and quite a big range of plants too.

A little update! tank's been up and running for about 3 weeks now.. 15 sakura was added in last week with no deaths now.. been dosing excel once per 2 day on 1/2 recommended dosage.

There's always this 3 aquascapers whose scapes always inspire me to want to do better. One of them is you, bro. The other 2 are bro Isaac's and bro Shadow's. Nice job! Keep the updates coming! Will be awesome when your moss grows out!

wah bro no la. im just a small time player! US fissiden can see alot new fronds liaoo. Jap HG no growth yet. cant wait to see everything covered with US fissiden, mini pelia and jap HG

Nice job on the us fiss, bro. Hope your JHG does better in your tank than mine. Lol. Mine crept and spread and then ran out of space. What happened next was a maintenance nightmare. Without space to expand, they started pushing each other out of the soil.eventually had to tear down the whole scape, coz most of the JHG were well out of the soil and some even floated to the surface.

woah sounds like a dream to me! hahah would really hope they spread and carpet well with only Excel dosing.

Wow that is really nice scape. Can u take a photo of the filter? I follow ur step but my gex filter I don't know what to put. Do u put wool inside the filter?

Thanks bro! quite hard for me to take photo of the filter.. maybe next week when i do maintenance. The Gex L size filter comes with 2 cartridges, one is white wool with carbon and the other is black coarse/fine sponge. i used the black sponges instead of the white wool because i will need to change monthly due to the carbon. i fill up the rest of the space with around 800ml of Seachem Matrix.
