Default My simple 1ft low tech tank

After months of reading and looking around the forum finally setup my small little 1ft low tech planted tank.

The plan get delay due to the shortage of ADA soil last few month.

Tank size: 30x30x35cm (WxDxH)
Substrat: ADA
Lighting: 30cm beamwork LED (3w x 6 led)
Filter: GEX L Hang on

as this is my first time into planted tank so is totally a new thing for me. All the while been keeping marine tank so know very little about planted tank.

Some plant additives are poisonous to shrimp. Excel is one of them as far as I know.

For glosso, try planting them deeper into the soil will do. I usuall plant them deeper and they will start spreading nicely. Those I just plant with the stem showing will tend to stretch higher.

I'm seeing their roots out of the soil. Not deep enough. Usually I will stick them real deep into the soil until I see their leaf on the soil only.

It's not too late. Still can push the plants deeper into the soil.
