My take? Maybe its female, that's why the beni and sumi developing slower. The body shape is encouraging.

Update this showa:
16 Sep 09 - 16cm This maruten showa caught my eye cos the shape is fat & short like rugby ball, and the Hi pattern is simple 2-step with maruten spot. Ah Seng actually discouraged me from taking this as he thinks the proportion is not so ideal and quality is not top level, but i backside itchy so i decided to grow it on to see what happens. 17 Nov 09 - 22cm Still pui teh shape, and the white skin looks greyish still... might turn out black fish next time... decided to return to Ah Seng, so much for my IBS, but good learning experience nonetheless. |

Shape may not be ideal but scale development is nice. Worth grooming unless you are looking for jumbo instead of scale & colour development. All the best bro!
