Hi take note, PNT needs water that are more alkaline. Water that are too acidic will cause them to shed skin excessively.

Hi I notice that your pnt got just alittle bit of upturn shell. May have to watch its diet and water condition.

but nice turtle!

yup, i second it. if PNT start to shed skin excessively, need to check the PH value.

Thank you for your advice bros, have measured the pH in tank.

It is 7.3 and stable. Filters currently have 2 big bags of coral chips, will add another 2 bags if the pH drops.

They r ok even with a pH of about 6.5. No issues of excessive shedding. In fact my PNT sheddings has always been very mild.

Then again, my 2 pnts r damn weird.

My PNT is finally going to move house soon!
I got my gravel in (but water is not as clear as my bare tank, is it normal? I havent use gravel for a long time),my heater in, air stone in and my canister has been running for abt4 days already
But I'm still hesitant to put my pnt in

Maybe I should get some test kit tonight to see if the pH is correct.
