u guys the puffer like to take nap?

mine always like to hide under driftwood and take nap

or maybe my tank too bright sometime since its quite close to the windows, should i paste black oyama sticker on the back and sides of my tank?

erm i dont think they are napping.. but rather they are laying in wait of unsuspecting prey to come within range for them to attack.. but again, what puffer you keeping?

Wow so many puffer lovers gathered I had fahaka and green spotted, figure 8 and Palembang before. My favorite is fahaka since it's super interactive, but now don't have tank space for one. Thus looking of possibility to get a Congo in a 2ft tank. Too bad aquahobby is far from my house.

my GSP always beg for food when see me around the tank

puffer do sleep..nap..rest..relax 1 corner..

perfectly natural n normal to seek out a secured comfortable shelter when resting.. away from the elements and predators..

however, if u noticed ur GSP rest most of the time.. become non-responsive to food and you..
then u have to worry liao..

tank too near window... the water temp might raise too high during hot days.. leading to algae problem.. etc..

I suggest to have at least a corner with wallpaper/oyama. Create a corner away from sunlight.
