your ceramic diffusor new one is it? it takes some time for the pressure to build up that will allow the co2 to push through. still cannot use airstone lor.

it works yesterday liao...
then my fishes all surfocated...
how to reduce the co2 output? mine is DIY co2 system...use those airpump valve?

reduce yeast in next mix.
for this batch, add an airstone for the fishes.
best to hook up the airpump to a timer that on after the lights out and plants no longer take in co2. timer off airpump when lights come on the next day.

using airpump during lights off period will ensure that your fishes do not get co2 poisoning at night when the plants take in oxygen and give out co2.
this is the hazard of 24/7 co2 injection using diy co2.

those with solenoids time the co2 injection according to lights on periods (on half to 1 hr before lights on and off half to 1hr before lights off).
this will ensure that the water is co2 saturated when lights come on so that the photosynthesis process get a real good kickstart.
co2 off earlier so that the plants will use up most of the co2 in the water before the lights go off.
