Evo bro, this is nice! But if there is CO2 and high wattage lightings, i think it is not considered as a low tech tank anymore. More moderate

Thanks bro, nope its a 422, and nope so far.. guess the discus is still relatively small and my cardinals are quite large in size..

True, but previously was 4x54watt T5HO, daily dosing and high blast of co2.. so i kinda considered it as low-tech already.

Hi bro, Thanks! but true enough, strictly speaking, maybe its a mid-tech tank... but well, its a 100gallon tank and im only having 108 T5HO watts over it.. kinda low actually.. but i cant do without co2 as well.. 2 days ago, my diffuser clogged and the tubing got loose, i had 1 whole day without co2 and my tank is infested with algae now.. sigh..

Dun jealous bro! you can do it also.. The pump is off bro.. 3000l/hr is no joke for discus.. currently only running the fluval Fx5. expecting to see more algae i guess due to lower flow.

Lets have a look at the different stages of changing between high to low tech.

High tech period.. much nicer though. but maintaining this was a pain.. really.

so i finally teared down the plants... replaced the foreground and background with E.tenellus and more crypts were added..

And then here came 1 month after *rescape* of plants..
