Bro, I have the same feeling as you. At 3 years of age...The aro (if its a XB) shd have well developed pearlies. Even if it has not cross.

Well, maybe we are both wrong in this case....newbie still learning...

Beautiful Gold aro you have there Bro! With nice thick body!

I also find it strange that the pearls are very under-developed for a XB of 3-years old.

Can share which farm this aro is from?

Its actually from rainbow farm leh...

i have kept it for abt 2 yrs, but from the cert it stated born at jan 2003....so i presume its abt 3yrs rite?? i aso find it funny how cum the gold wont cross... i had check with people from fisherman aqua and they told me might be my lighting too much since young so it some how wont cross... but be it a cross bac or rtg, its still my precious aro.... to see it grow fat and eating well i m happy already... no worries man..

bro, happy that u are loving yr aro for wat it is and not wat it was suppose to be... cheers!!

but i'm still doubtful abt the bloated stomach... dun seems to be fm over feeding...

btw, my xb also dun eat feeder fish... treat them like friends too...
