I got 2 silver sharks to do the job leh.. but the ITs still minding their own business.. i also tried to use a PNT to disturb them but PNT tried to bite them so abort that idea.

Maybe just add in the wavemaker so they not v familar yet. will give them some time to get use first n see how. Or maybe flowrate not strong enough to get them moving..

nice thread... I have 4 ITs in aro comm tank with tankmates parrots and SD. Only 2 of my ITs are stable (show stripes)... my ITs only take MP/feeders.. hope experts here can answer some question

1. How to make IT stable? Are they gonna be dark color forever?
2. Best way to pump them up.. wat size they'll grow up to in a bare 6x2.5 tank?
3. How to train them to eat SW?

Hi bro, although i am not expert, the likely answer to ur questions are:
1. ITs are unpredictable. They can turn stable suddenly one day, and then unstable the next and maintain unstable for a long while before suddenly stable again. But my experience with IT is that an IT that move a lot will be more stable, so u can work on that.
2. MP is the best to pump them up. size depend on how much they eat i guess.
3. key to training them to eat SW = starve

how many days hve you starve them until they learn to eat sw?

i feel that those super worm they sink, they jiggle attracting attentions from the tigers. some spat it out after taking it. some just swallow. is there benefits in feeding super worms?

Does anyone know whats the growth rate of an NGT? Thinking of getting a 3" from LFS but its too small to comm it with my aro. Can't find one thats arnd 5-6" rite now.

But dun know he want to sell anot..
BTW NGT grow very slow in one or two mths time ur aro will outgrown it already..

Bro, how many days depend on ur tigers.
I have not tried changing their diet to SW. But it took me almost 2 weeks to train my small ITs to take MP.
