Besides apologies, one month salary should be deducted from the top management, LTA and the Cow, and no bonus this year for all for them. All pre-paid cards holder will be given $x of free rides.

Some years ago I spoke to one of the old technicians supervisor at SMRT who worked his way up from technician to senior supervisor
He said it was challenging to motivate the junior technicians to work hard. There was some minimum quota to meet in terms of maintenance, eg, must inspect or repair so many sets of escalators per day If this minimum quota was met by the technicians they would stop work for that day Tell them to do more they refused This could be the deep rooted culture (bo-chup?) that was mentioned in the newspaper by the senior management |

Interestingly, most young ppl are like that now. Ask them do more, they will said iI am paid to do so much, other work, outside my job scope, dun ask me do. Does company pay me extra for the work or see i am doing extra work?
How do u overcome this? Mentality of many youths nowadays? |
