ya i using in pond... c328 biohome is quite a good deal.

maybe i will change to biohome. abt 10 to 15kg.

its after mech filter bro. normal matrix 4l is abt 79sg. pond is 60sg

biohome normal grey 5kg abt 130 ba.

should get matrix though is more ex as the surface area is much more. get bio home plus as is more durable and there is trace element for faster establishment of bacteria.

Can consider momotaro bacteria house.
Or go cheap : black lava rocks or perlite or pumice stones from garden nurseries.
Perlite floats, takes about a week to sink. Porosity suspect.

thanks bro. yep read abt matrix is actually pumice after acid wash. and angmo forum actually did many test.

and found that the result using matrix and pumice = same same.

the only problem is i wonder whether pumice from nurseries is save to use leh?. 25L for 30 sg........ thats super cheap hahah

read that matrix is pumice but don't know this type safe to use in aquarium anot. Better play safe get matrix. Is momotaro good? Heard is use by koi keeper. What is the surface area and price? Thanks.
