For months?! Thats quite badly neglected =(
First thing is to do WC bit by bit to bring water back to pristine condition. Dun do a large WC as it has not been done for months, and the tap water condition would be very different from your tank water, especially during this rainy season. If water back to good condition, should recover by itself. Can put heater and a bit of methylene blue medication to prevent worsening or spread in the meantime. But next time must take care of fishes la at the very least, one month find 2hrs, cfm have time one. |

Curing fin rot is a waiting game, have to be patient. Even if use the best medication, fins will not grow back to perfect condition overnight.
Furan 2 is a common used to treat and prevent fin burn/rot in Altum Angels, so i guess its okay to use for this condition. Just rmbr to keep good water conditions. |
