injured typhoon
Got trapped and badly hurt.
Anyone recommended treatment? I dose pimafix and water change. Hoping for the best.. |

look real bad. imo, i will bring him out to another tank and slowly let him recover. Probably apply some methyl blue to prevent infection. melafix should be good enough if the affected area is not spreading.

Agreed with Canopy Bro, before it spread to the injured fish and tankmates, better separate it out for at least a month to recover and WC every 2-3 days.

actually its not infection, the back and fins kena chew by another male that is trying to trap it. It happen before, but this is the 1st time i see the fin so chui. Very worried it wont recover.

Bro, ur cave size too small for your fish already... she is having an open wound... better to keep ur water parameter good.. if not as wad bro canopy said.. isolate it and treat it individually.. keep us posted bro..

Just use heater first and maintain good water quality.
I have seen worse injury before and managed to recover.

2 weeks later... Recovering... Open wound healed. Not sure if the dorsal will grow back.. |
