Default Shellies - Dwarf cichlids of Lake Tanganyika

With the recent passion and interest shown , lets push and promote Tanganyika cichlids keeping to a new height.

Are these sp aggressive ?

I kind of like some of those I saw (months ago) at Biotope and they even breed in small tank.

Do you think 1.5 by 1ft tank work for them ?

The tank size you've mentioned works well enough for these dwarf tangan cichlids, I've also successfully bred two other variants of these dwarfs even with my mediocre way.

Occellatus are known to be more aggressive than other shellies but it is also when they look the most stunning while displaying their aggressive posh.

That was many months back.

no clue on the ID but they are rather pale looking with a few vertical stripes.

sounds like multies (poison in deep and working )

They use to have a lot of Lepidiolamprologus boulengeri at the AMK shop.

A shop near my place have these too. Think they supply to other shops as now got only small quantity.
